What is Cash Raven, and how can I earn passive income with it?


Our computers and phones are always connected to the internet these days, so why not make them work for us? By simply installing Cash Raven to your devices (mobile phone, desktop, laptop, etc), you can share your internet connection and earn easy money by doing nothing!

How does it work?

When you download Cash Raven and opt into our network, you can get paid for sharing your Wi-Fi internet with our network of enterprise users. The enterprise users on our network will ONLY use your resources for pre-approved, thoroughly vetted business use cases like web data scraping and analysis. Payouts are made after you have reached $15 in earnings.


Our customers only use your connection when your device is:

  • connected to WiFi (not using mobile data), and

  • idle (not in use by you), and

  • plugged in, or charged to at least 50% battery level.

The more data you share, the more money you can earn! Want to substantially increase your earnings? Install Cash Raven on multiple devices in multiple locations to maximize the amount of data you can share.



 

What is my internet and IP address being used for?


The enterprise customers who use your IP address and internet connection are ONLY allowed to use them for very specific cases that we allow and vet very diligently.

Is it safe? Will my device be harmed in any way?

Also, upcoming features will allow you to fully control which domains can connect to your devices, and at what rate you will allow them to connect per hour. This will further ensure that only you have control over what is used on your device!




Do you store any of my information, logs, or other usage on my device?


No! We only need your WiFi bandwidth and your IP address. We do not store or log any information from your device other than this. Our business customers connect through our proxy technology which allows them to use your IP address to connect to their websites - they will never have access to anything else on your device.

Will you use any mobile data?


Our system only uses your WiFi data. There are nuanced chances that we may unintentionally consume a minor amount of mobile data if a connection is open when you leave WiFi, but we take all measures necessary to ensure we are not consuming mobile data. The reason for using your WiFi data only is that it is very cheap for almost all people in the world (unlike mobile data, which can be expensive).



Can I run Cash Raven from a non-residential IP address (data center, etc)?


No. We monitor all new users on Cash Raven to ensure they are providing only a residential IP address that is beneficial to our business customers. We will suspend any user that tries to install our software on a non-residential IP address.



How much do I get paid for sharing my traffic?


You will be paid $0.10 per GB of traffic you sell to our network.



How do I get paid? What are your payout terms?


You will be paid out once you have received $15 in total earnings. To be paid out, you will be sent instructions from our Accounts Payable partner, Tipalti.com (who serves clients like GoDaddy), where they will take all of your payment information and ensure your information is legitimate. 


You can select from PayPal and ACH for payout and will be required to pay the fee associated with each of the payment methods. It benefits you if you wait longer to be paid out so that you are not paying the fee as often.


Payout Fees:

  • PayPal:  FREE for early beta customers
  • ACH: $1.50 on each payout
  • Amazon Gift Card:  FREE - please contact [email protected] to be paid out via Amazon Gift Card



How much can I earn?


Your earnings are mostly limited by the number of unique IP addresses you have signed up with. The more unique IP addresses your devices are on, the more you can earn! Please read our home page https://cashraven.io for more information.



What platforms do you currently support for me to install on?


We currently have support for Android:  https://cashraven.io/download/


We expect to have our Windows application completed soon.



Why am I not earning very much?


Many factors play into how much you earn (see our site, https://cashraven.io/how-it-works/ , for more information), such as:


  • Number of unique IP addresses you have
  • Location (for example, many of our customers need US-based IP addresses, so we have a larger volume of need there)
  • Supply and demand balance with our ecosystem:  if we have too many Cash Raven users, and not enough business customers, then there will be periods where earnings will be less. If, on the other hand, we have many business customers and not enough Cash Raven users, then your traffic will be used as aggressively as possible (staying within the limits of our Ethical commitment).


[TROUBLESHOOTING]  The app won't connect to the server / is not earning money?


If you are facing problems with your app being in "Active" status, please contact support with the following information:


1. Take a screenshot of your phone and upload that to support so we can see what your screen looks like
2. Tell us what your IP address is (you can find your IP address at:  whatismyip.com)

3. Ensure the following:

  • Your phone is plugged into a power outlet and is charging
  • You are connected to WiFi
  • You have the app active on your screen (the app only runs when the screen is OFF, or when you have the app active on your screen. If you are using your phone for other uses, then you will not earn money as we prioritize your safety and do not use your phone when you are using it)
